Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Masuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clay Thomas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masuka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Masuka is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Thomas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Thomas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Masuka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Masuka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thomas - the referee stops the clock and Masuka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thomas. Masuka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masuka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masuka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Thomas has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Masuka is really squeezing tight and eventually Thomas passes out! Masuka breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
