Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volya Nikolaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikolaev has chosen Fever as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler defending well as Nikolaev loads up on a big left hand.
Nikolaev drops his hands momentarily and Chandler takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Chandler counters with a shoot takedown. Nikolaev fights it but they end up in guard.
Chandler controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Nikolaev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Nikolaev is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Nikolaev is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chandler rolls with it to try and escape but Nikolaev cranks on the arm and Chandler is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
