Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Weaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weaver throws a leg kick
and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Jason Weaver has been cut.

Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Weaver is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Weaver is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gracie connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Weaver some visible discomfort.

Gracie looks up at the clock and then as Weaver takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gracie smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The referee asks Gracie politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gracie prefers to stall for the moment though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Weaver fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie.
Gracie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Weaver defends well and Gracie ends up having to push Weaver into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Weaver can do to turn this around?
