Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrett Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson pushes Gavin away with a front kick.
Ferguson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ferguson slaps away a takedown attempt from Gavin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gavin looks to score with a jab to the body but Ferguson is just out of range.

Gavin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ferguson's guard.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ferguson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ferguson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gavin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
