Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Calaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calaway comes to the cage accompanied by R.I.P.. Hug is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Animal I Have Become . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calaway slips a jab and a cross from Hug.
Calaway tests Hug's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hug throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Calaway throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sloppy strikes from Hug. Those never looked like landing.
Calaway misses with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Calaway.
Calaway connects with a single shot there.
Hug looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Calaway fails in his attempt to clinch.
Calaway slips a jab and a cross from Hug.
Hug lands a big head kick that sends Calaway tumbling to the mat! Hug takes a step backwards and waves Calaway back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Calaway is rocked!
It looks like Mark Calaway has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hug batters Calaway with a massive right followed by a huge left! Calaway is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Hug lands a final crushing right hand to drop Calaway to the mat with a gruesome thud! Hug is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hades Hug!
After the fight, Hades Hug was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
