The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant swings for the body but Gonzales moves out of range.
Rodrigo Gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzales takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice jab there from Bryant.
Bryant moves forwards but Gonzales connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Thedit Bryant has been cut.
Bryant paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bryant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gonzales throws a hook but Bryant blocks it.
Bryant swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bryant connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gonzales. Gonzales circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Gonzales sends Bryant crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gonzales is motioning to the referee to let Bryant up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bryant takes a swing at Gonzales's ribcage but misses.

Bryant throws the left hand but Gonzales avoids the punch easily.

Gonzales lands a big right hand that sends Bryant crashing to the mat! Gonzales stays standing though and waves Bryant back to his feet!
Gonzales shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Gonzales cracks Bryant with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bryant falls to his knees and Gonzales doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A less than humble Rodrigo Gonzales misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
