Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsey Rodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramsey Rodman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker with a lazy takedown attempt
so Rodman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rodman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Barker is being controlled here.
Barker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barker tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Rodman easily slips into full mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rodman prevents Barker from getting the reversal.
Rodman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rodman's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
