Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rankka fails to land with a series of punches.
Rankka throws a looping overhand right but Rodolfo ducks down to avoid it.
It looked like Rodolfo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rankka enables Rodolfo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rankka manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rodolfo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Rodolfo lands a couple of elbows.
Rodolfo throwing strikes from guard but Rankka blocks nicely.
Rodolfo stands and throws Rankka's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodolfo lands a decent elbow from side control.
Rodolfo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rodolfo throwing strikes but Rankka manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Rodolfo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rankka off and has taken his back!
