Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mang Kanor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Lee has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mang Kanor!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kanor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lee avoids it really well and circles away.
Kanor throws a combination that misses
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kanor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kanor gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kanor blocking some punches.
Lee misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee throws a punch but it's blocked by Kanor.
Lee tries to break free but Kanor pushes him back against the cage.
Lee lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Lee tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kanor pushes Lee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Kanor pulls guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kanor seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kanor working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lee.
Kanor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
Kanor controlling Lee's posture.

Kanor manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Kanor tries for a takedown but Lee manages to get underhooks.
Lee wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kanor blocks an uppercut.

Kanor gets control of Lee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kanor will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee with a nice head shot there.
Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lee postures up in Kanor's guard and throws a big left but Kanor blocks it.
Kanor keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Kanor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kanor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.


That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee wants to stand and escape but Kanor is having none of it.
Lee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kanor dives into side control.

Lee throws Kanor to one side and escapes!
Kanor darts in looking for a takedown but Lee gets double underhooks and turns Kanor into the cage.
It appears Lee was looking to counter with a kick there.
Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mang Kanor.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Kanor moves out of range easily.
Kanor shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Kanor shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kanor shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kanor looks winded!
Kanor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lee avoids it really well and circles away.
Lee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kanor darts in trying to clinch
and Kanor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kanor forces Lee back against the cage and clinches.
Lee lands with a light punch inside.
Lee lands with a short shot to the head.
Lee swings wildly with an uppercut but Kanor uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Lee dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kanor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lee gets tackled into the cage by Kanor. Kanor maintains the clinch.
Kanor is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kanor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice shot lands for Kanor.

Kanor tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance.

Kanor rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kanor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mang Kanor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kanor fails with a takedown attempt.
Lee lands a head kick. Kanor smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A jab from Lee finds it's way through Kanor's defenses.


Kanor is rocked!

Oooh a lovely combination from Lee sends Kanor down but not out. Lee dives into side control looking to finish.
Kanor is still in real trouble! Can Lee finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big shot lands for Lee! That's hurt Kanor! Will he recover? Lee fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Lee!
