Chalidow drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Aikawa dives on top into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Aikawa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chalidow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aikawa has managed to get both his arms back between Chalidow's legs - danger averted.

Chalidow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aikawa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Aikawa gets to his feet and stands over Chalidow, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Chalidow felt that one! Aikawa unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Chalidow from any more punishment!
