The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Animal drives through and clinches with Summers against the cage.
Summers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mark Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Animal wants to clinch up but Summers keeps it at a distance.
The Animal takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Carlos The Animal has been cut.
The Animal drops Summers with a right and a left! The Animal comes rushing in but Summers regains his composure and manages to keep The Animal in guard.
Summers is rocked!
It looks like Mark Summers has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Animal is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh Summers is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Summers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. The Animal is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Summers .
The crowd goes nuts as The Animal knocks Summers out cold with a massive hammerfist! The Animal Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
