Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Derozan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derozan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Morrison's half guard.
Morrison is looking to control Derozan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morrison avoid being mounted?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Derozan distracts Morrison with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Derozan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morrison.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Morrison, as that shot connected.

Derozan has hold of Morrison's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Morrison tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Derozan cranks the arm and Morrison screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Morrison, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). James Derozan!
James Derozan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
