Trzcinski comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Cube - Do Ya Thang. Diver has chosen Holy Diver by Dio as his entrance music. Daniel Trzcinski has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Holy Diver!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diver doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Trzcinski counters with a one-two to the body.
Diver shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Trzcinski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Trzcinski.
Diver goes for a takedown attempt but Trzcinski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Diver takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diver seems to have recovered his senses.

Trzcinski lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Diver sprawling to the canvas. Trzcinski follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Diver hang on?
Trzcinski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Trzcinski jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Diver has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Trzcinski.
Diver goes for a double leg but Trzcinski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Trzcinski continues to drive forward.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Diver.
Trzcinski is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Diver fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trzcinski avoids it really well and circles away.

Holy Diver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trzcinski closes the distance and pushes Diver back into the cage.

Diver is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Trzcinski to keep the fight standing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Diver or perhaps it was just good defense by Trzcinski, which made it look bad.
