Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Driscoll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Gann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gann has chosen Here Comes The Boom as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gann has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Driscoll! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bubba Gann! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driscoll misses with a leg kick and Gann counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Driscoll! Driscoll looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Driscoll sneaks back into half guard. Gann is pressing down on Driscoll's thigh, looking to free his foot. Driscoll is holding on for now. Driscoll is trying to control but can't.
Gann is looking for a kimura but Driscoll is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gann to get the leverage. Gann not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Driscoll. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gann wants to take a breather but Driscoll is having none of it. Gann is stalling here. Driscoll is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gann seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Driscoll has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Gann is trying to escape the position but Driscoll is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Driscoll lands a decent elbow from side control. Driscoll looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Driscoll decides to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Driscoll shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gann pinned against the cage. Gann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Driscoll throws a half hearted mid kick. Gann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Driscoll circles away. Gann will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Driscoll moves into range and clinches up with Gann. Driscoll stalling against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Driscoll can't get the takedown.
Driscoll gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gann.
Peter Driscoll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Gann. Gann wants a takedown but no success here.
Gann gets a trip takedown into half guard. Driscoll is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gann's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gann's back! Driscoll missing with punches from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Driscoll working for a choke but Gann is defending well. Gann wants to control his opponent's hands but Driscoll gets his hands free. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gann defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Driscoll's arms. Gann is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Peter Driscoll will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Driscoll moves into the clinch. Gann stalling against the cage.
Gann stops a takedown attempt from Driscoll.
Come on Driscoll - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Gann jumps guard and drags Driscoll to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Driscoll slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Driscoll trying to control the position from guard on top but Gann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Driscoll is really struggling to control Gann but he's trying to hold on to the position. Driscoll sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gann's guard. Gann avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Driscoll. Driscoll is looking to advance position but Gann won't allow it. Driscoll trying to control from half guard but Gann is working away.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gann is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Driscoll shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gann pinned against the cage. Gann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gann takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Driscoll gets caught napping as Gann dives in and scores a takedown. Driscoll manages to retain guard. Gann throws a big right hand that misses. Driscoll escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gann gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gann has gone for a leg lock! Driscoll slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gann's guard. Gann trying to keep a closed guard but Driscoll is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Driscoll is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Driscoll will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Driscoll defends it easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gann is looking for a triangle here but Driscoll uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Driscoll will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Driscoll moves into range and clinches up with Gann. Gann is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Driscoll is keeping busy. Driscoll prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gann has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Driscoll avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Driscoll jumps guard.
Gann throws a strike but Driscoll rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Driscoll slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gann wants to control the position but Driscoll says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Driscoll gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Driscoll. Gann feints the counter takedown. Nice sprawl there from Driscoll as Gann shoots in. Peter Driscoll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Gann. Driscoll scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Driscoll tries to sprawl but Gann drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Driscoll trying to control but Gann postures up.
Driscoll is defending against the submission attempts here by Gann.
Gann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Driscoll knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gann is working for a submission of some sort.
Gann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Driscoll kicks Gann off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gann fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Driscoll throws a head kick that misses. Driscoll shoots in but Gann avoids the takedown attempt easily. Driscoll pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Driscoll darts in and clinches Gann up against the cage. Bubba Gann has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peter Driscoll is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gann tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Driscoll's elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Driscoll showed his dominance in that final round. Well Driscoll has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
