The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dedal swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dedal looks to land a left hand but Weffart moved out of range nicely.
Weffart wants to clinch.

Weffart closes the distance and clinches.
Weffart leaning against his opponent.
Weffart looking to stall.
Weffart definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Dedal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dedal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Weffart tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dedal swivels and escapes.
Dedal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Iker Dedal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dedal throws a nice looking combination but Weffart bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Weffart looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Weffart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No joy there for Dedal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Weffart closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dedal did well to prevent Weffart getting side control.

Weffart lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dedal's sensitive parts.
Dedal lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dedal cracks a nice hook into Weffart's ribs.
Dedal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Weffart manages to avoid it.
Weffart tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dedal swivels and escapes.
Despite the aggression on Dedal's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Dedal stuffs the takedown attempt from Weffart. Weffart gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Weffart. That's going to take a lot out of him.
