The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tso II lands a slapping body shot.
Vercetti darts in and clinches Tso II up against the cage.
Vercetti lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tso II pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Tso II cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Carlo Vercetti has been cut.
Vercetti throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tso II counters with a right hand to the body.
Vercetti doesn't manage to clinch there - Tso II circles away.
Tso II throws a front kick that sends Vercetti stumbling back into the cage.
Vercetti is breathing heavily.
Tso II throws a leg kick which misses Vercetti's front leg but catches the back leg as Vercetti tries to avoid it.
Vercetti on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Vercetti looks to land a combination. Tso II sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Tso II steps into range and cracks Vercetti with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Vercetti flops backwards and Tso II dives into his guard looking to finish!
Vercetti is rocked!
Vercetti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vercetti tries to get out of the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tso II trying to control the position from guard on top but Vercetti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oh Vercetti is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vercetti seems to have got his legs back now.

Tso II is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tso II passes Vercetti's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zongtang Tso II dominated that round.

Tso II fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vercetti has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Tso II throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tso II thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vercetti if he has to take too many more of those.

Good leg kick by Tso II there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
