Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley throws a lazy uppercut
letting Woods counter with a right hand.
Nice defenses there by Woods.
Good standup being displayed there by Woods as he connects with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Riley. Woods does a little dance to reset his feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Riley.
Woods uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Woods just misses with a punch to the body.
Woods jabs Riley right on the nose. Riley blinks but takes it well.
Nice takedown defense from Woods. No joy for Riley on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Riley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Woods lands a glancing blow to the side of Riley's head.

Woods gets tackled into the cage by Riley. Riley maintains the clinch.

Riley keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Woods's efforts to push away.
Riley throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

A nice left hand lands by Riley.
Woods takes a shot to the head.


Woods is rocked!
Woods blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Woods is still on wobbly legs! Can Riley finish him?
Riley lands a shot to the body.
Riley throws a punch but it's blocked by Woods.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Riley.
Riley fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Riley has a couple of punches blocked by Woods.
Riley swings wildly with an uppercut but Woods uses good head movement to avoid it.
Riley throws a head punch that misses.
Riley misses with a punch on the inside.
Come on Riley - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Riley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riley misses with the head strike.

Riley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Woods can't fight it off and eventually Riley manages to take the fight to the floor. Woods looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Riley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Woods really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Riley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Riley is standing up over Woods. Woods looks to escape but Riley dives into side control.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Check out the look on Riley's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Riley remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Riley tries for a kimura but Woods is defending well.
Woods takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riley lands a strong strike to the head of Woods. That's dazed him! Riley looking to finish here. Woods is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Riley lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robbie Riley!
Robbie Riley spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
