Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Venturia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venturia comes into the arena with Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise blaring out of the sound system. Red has chosen Method Man and Redman - Da Rockwilder as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venturia moves into range and connects with a jab.
Venturia takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Venturia moves out of range as Red strikes.
Red avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Red feints the counter takedown.
Red throws a lazy uppercut
and Red takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Red lands a nice shot that snaps Venturia's head back.
We've been told by Venturia's head coaches at Bi-polar Asylum that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Venturia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Venturia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Red moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Red pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Red jabs Venturia right on the nose. Venturia blinks but takes it well.
Red gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Venturia throws a head kick but Red moves out of range.
Jesse Venturia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Red. Venturia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Venturia throws out a powerful jab.
Venturia paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Red scores with a nice strike.

Venturia slips under a jab from Red.
Venturia defending well as Red loads up on a big left hand.
Red is looking to clinch but Venturia is avoiding it.
Venturia throwing a counter right hand but Red manages to avoid it.
Red misses with a looping left.
Jesse Venturia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
BOOM! Red lands a beautiful left hook that drops Venturia. Venturia tries to recover but Red is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Venturia lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A less than humble Mr Red misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
