The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Massacre is looking to clinch but Jensen is avoiding it.
Massacre stuffs the takedown.

Massacre gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jensen wants to get up but he can't break Massacre's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Massacre wants to stand and escape but Jensen is having none of it.
Jensen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Massacre is proving hard to escape from.

Jensen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Massacre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jensen has managed to get both his arms back between Massacre's legs - danger averted.

Jensen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Massacre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jensen has Massacre in his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
