Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Finnegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Finnegan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Finnegan eats them both and turns towards Banner to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Finnegan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Banner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Finnegan throws a nice inside leg kick.
Banner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Finnegan on the side of the head.
Banner throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Finnegan counters with a leg kick.
Finnegan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banner.
Finnegan follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Finnegan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A jab lands there for Banner.
Finnegan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bruce Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Banner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Finnegan can do to turn this around?

This has been an exciting period of action!
Finnegan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick by Finnegan - that's a beauty! Banner is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Finnegan can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
