The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Davies misses with a short punch on the inside.
Davies's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kung effectively controlling the action here.
Kung works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Kung wants to control from the top but Davies keeps moving.
Davies working for a triangle but Kung defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kung throws a strike but Davies rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Davies is looking to work some ground and pound but Kung has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kung is looking to cinch up a triangle. Davies throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kung's body to avoid the submission. Kung has instead reached around Davies's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kung arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
