Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Manuel Ulrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Wallace told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace is looking to slow Ulrich down with leg kicks.
Wallace pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ulrich back to the cage. Wallace follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wallace throws a head kick but Ulrich moves out of range.
Wallace throws a series of strikes that have Ulrich backpedaling.
Ulrich takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
A jab from Wallace does it's job there.
Wallace lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wallace lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ulrich's sensitive parts.
Wallace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ulrich avoids the head kick by Wallace.
Wallace jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wallace.
Wallace displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ulrich.
Wallace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Ulrich wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Wallace connects with a leg kick. Ulrich looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bill Wallace is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

As Wallace backs away, Ulrich returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wallace has eaten all the pies!
Wallace moves in looking to clinch but Ulrich pushes him off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wallace.
Ulrich throwing a counter right hand but Wallace manages to avoid it.
Wallace lands a jab-cross combination.
Wallace is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Wallace fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

It looked like Ulrich wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Wallace misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ulrich shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ulrich was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ulrich is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wallace looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ulrich gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wallace is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ulrich lets go of the hold and Wallace can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Juan Manuel Ulrich really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bullet Proof System logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
In defeat, Bill Wallace stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will chiblast you next time and you will die'.
