Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Roman Toretto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Nichols!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nichols lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Toretto goes down! The ref sends Nichols to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Toretto is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

It looks like Roman Toretto has been cut.
Toretto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Nichols moves away from the strike by Toretto.
Nichols throws a leg kick that misses.
Nichols tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Toretto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nichols fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Toretto manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Toretto blocks the leg kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Toretto misses the target.
Nichols keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Toretto.
Toretto throws a leg kick which misses Nichols's front leg but catches the back leg as Nichols tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Toretto throws a good cross that connects.

Nichols cracks Toretto with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Toretto is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Toretto is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Nichols misses the shot to the body.
Nichols scores with a jab to the head.

Toretto is rocked!
Nice defenses there by Toretto.
Oh Toretto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nichols throws a head kick but Toretto moves out of range.
Toretto was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Nichols lands a front kick to the face, that drops Toretto to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

Roman Toretto's cut is getting worse.
Nichols tries to clinch up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Toretto keeps Nichols at a distance using the push kick.
Toretto seems to have got his legs back now.
Toretto get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Toretto stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the ropes but Nichols runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
