Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Constantine Markakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hapitaron Hasofi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hapitaron Hasofi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Constantine Markakis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hapitaron Hasofi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markakis wants to clinch.
Markakis tries to close the distance and clinch but Hasofi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hasofi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Markakis pinned against the cage. Markakis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hasofi closes the distance and clinches up with Markakis, looking for a takedown. Hasofi pushes Markakis against the cage but Markakis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Markakis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Markakis lands an elbow inside that Hasofi shrugs off.


It looks like Hapitaron Hasofi has been cut.
Hasofi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Hasofi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Markakis won't be happy with that.
Markakis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hasofi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hasofi wants to take a breather but Markakis manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hasofi.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hasofi wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Markakis is now in half guard.

Hapitaron Hasofi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Markakis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
