Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Flare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Becker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mr Boombastic. Flare has chosen Also Sprach Zarathustra as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Becker misses the target.

Becker drives through with a takedown into guard.
Flare is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Becker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Becker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Becker postures up and lands a big shot to Flare's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Becker landing some decent shots from guard.

Flare is looking for a triangle but Becker pushes his legs off easily.
Becker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Becker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Becker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Flare wants to sweep but no luck.
Becker throwing strikes but missing.

Flare preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Becker stands up over Flare, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Becker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flare works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Becker is looking to work some ground and pound but Flare has wrist control.
Becker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flare on the ground.
Flare trying to keep a closed guard but Becker is proving a slippery customer.
Flare has Becker pulled in close to control his posture.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Becker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Becker won't allow Flare to sweep him here.
Becker trying to control the position from guard on top but Flare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Becker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flare swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Becker is looking to work some ground and pound but Flare has wrist control.
Becker wants to control from the top but Flare keeps moving.
Becker with a flurry of punches that miss.

Flare looking for a guillotine here but Becker defends easily.
Becker wants to pass the guard but Flare is keeping the position.
Becker postures up and lands a big shot to Flare's brow.
Becker trying to control but Flare is working from the bottom.

Becker throws a big right hand that misses.

Flare has his feet on Becker's thighs here. He's pushed Becker off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Becker screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Rick Flare spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Wolfgang Becker was interviewed post fight and said 'Fuck this shit I'm outta here!'.
