The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batalon stalks Aziev and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aziev's face. Aziev staggers backwards, shaken.

Aziev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Aziev throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Batalon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aziev is working away from the top position though.

Aziev is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Batalon sees it coming and defends easily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Aziev lands a nice short elbow.
Aziev takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Aziev seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Batalon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
