The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fujioka has managed to clinch.
Fujioka wants to break free but Walter has control.

Fujioka has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Walter has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Let's hope that Fujioka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Walter tries to improve position but can't.

Fujioka has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Fujioka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walter sprawls well initially but Fujioka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fujioka rushes Walter and presses him up against the cage.
Fujioka is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walter gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Fujioka has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Walter uses from the top position.

Walter is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Oh Walter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fujioka is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Walter with him. Walter is trying to defend but Fujioka has an arm under the chin now! Walter grimaces and is forced to tap out!
