Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leigh Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa has chosen Rockys theme song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ellison tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Balboa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Balboa tries to bum rush Ellison with a series of wild strikes but Ellison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ellison dives in for a single leg takedown but Balboa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ellison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Balboa pinned against the cage. Balboa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Balboa leaves Ellison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
As Ellison backs off Balboa throws a huge counter combo but Ellison manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leigh Ellison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ellison's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Balboa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ellison scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Leigh Ellison has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Ellison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Ellison drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Balboa gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Balboa tries to break the clinch but Ellison is controlling the position.
Ellison is trying to drag Balboa to the mat but Balboa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ellison has Balboa pressed against the cage, preventing Balboa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ellison keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Balboa's efforts to push away.
Ellison tries to score a body lock takedown but Balboa shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ellison wants a takedown but no success here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ellison is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Balboa gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ellison keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Balboa's efforts to push away.
