The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fischer dives in and grabs Ganer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ganer pushes down on Fischer's head and hops out.

Ganer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that Lynwood Fischer will probably get the nod.

Lynwood Fischer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
I would not like to be Ganer right now.
Fischer lands a good shot there. Ganer covers up! Fischer smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Ganer to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Fischer jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
