The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Franks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stevenson was covering up waiting for the punch and Franks finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Stevenson wants to stand up but Franks is controlling him.
Stevenson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stevenson pushes Franks off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Franks shoots in and gets a takedown into Stevenson's guard.

Franks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Franks postures up in Stevenson's guard and throws a big left but Stevenson blocks it.

Franks throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stevenson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Franks is in Stevenson's guard.

Franks decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stevenson, up you get!
Oh Stevenson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
