The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Hood Hands.

It looks like Kenric Nyyrikki has been cut.

Nyyrikki tries to clinch up but Hood Hands circles away and keeps his distance.
Hood Hands feints a jab promting Nyyrikki to slip. Hood Hands then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nyyrikki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hood Hands scores with a nice head shot.
Nyyrikki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hood Hands circles away.
Nyyrikki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hood Hands keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hood Hands throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hood Hands stalks Nyyrikki and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nyyrikki's face. Nyyrikki staggers backwards, shaken.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nyyrikki.
Hood Hands was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jerome Hood Hands has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenric Nyyrikki.

Hood Hands looks to land a combination but Nyyrikki avoids it well.
Hood Hands feints with a jab and clips Nyyrikki right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Nyyrikki is sent crashing into the canvas and Hood Hands leaps in for the kill! Nyyrikki tries to get to his feet but Hood Hands is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Nyyrikki is in need of a savior and steps in!
