Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fuzzy Bud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Numb. Fuzzy Bud has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terrell James!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bud moves into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bud just misses with a elbow thrown towards James's brow.
James avoids a wild elbow strike from Bud.
Bud pushes off an throws an elbow but James leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

James gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Bud actively working from the bottom here.
James slows the pace down in half guard.
Bud really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bud looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bud keeps working.
James sitting and controlling from the half guard.

James's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
James is looking to take a break and control but Bud is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bud has hold of James's hands but James slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bud manages to get to full guard.
Bud has his hands on James's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bud looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bud keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

James shoots in and bounces Bud off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bud pulls James in close to his closed guard and prevents James from doing any damage or advancing position.

Bud will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

James got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, James has managed to get both his arms back between Bud's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
James wants to control from the top but Bud keeps moving.

James shoots in and gets a takedown into Bud's guard.
James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bud. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've been informed that James has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
James might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bud haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

James shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bud is trying to defend but James finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bud wants to control but James is keeping busy and won't allow it.
James has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bud is looking to improve his position.
James is trying to control. Bud wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bud is controlling James's position as best he can from this difficult position.

James wants to take a breather but Bud is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

James avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
James's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Let's hope that James has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bud swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bud working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Terrell James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



James feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bud is looking to stand up but James won't let him.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bud controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

James throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bud was covering up waiting for the punch and James finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from James.

Fuzzy Bud has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Terrell James is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
James is pulling down on Bud's head. It's preventing any offense from Bud, at least for the moment.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Terrell James.
I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
