Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Longhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Takaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Takaya struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jake Longhall has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaya tries to clinch there but Longhall circles away.
We've been informed that Takaya has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Takaya fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Longhall, pushing him back against the cage.

Longhall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takaya has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Longhall has managed to get both his arms back between Takaya's legs - danger averted.
