The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asap closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Asap misses with a head shot. Cherubim uses the momentum to regain guard.

Asap drops back looking for a leg! Cherubim is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cherubim manages to kick Asap off! Asap jumps back into Cherubim's guard.
Cherubim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Asap. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Asap drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Asap jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Asap seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cherubim does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cherubim tries to improve his position but Asap has taken his back! Asap has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Cherubim tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Asap pushes Cherubim away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
