Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Lamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bok Choy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Choy's choice of entrance music: No Games by Rick Ross. Lorenzo Lamel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bok Choy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Lamel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bok Choy!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choy moves away from the strike by Lamel.
We've been told by Lamel's head coaches at Team Alpha Male that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Choy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lamel loads up on a big right hand but Choy slips the punch.
Choy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lamel.
Choy throws a quick inside leg kick.

Choy clinches up against the cage.
Choy misses with a punch on the inside.
Choy digs a right hand underneath Lamel's ribcage. Lamel let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Choy scores with a nice hook to the head.

Choy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lamel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Choy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Choy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lamel to score with a decent uppercut.
Lamel thuds a left hand into Choy's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lamel pivots, looking for a leg kick but Choy is out of range and Lamel settles back down.

Bok Choy dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lamel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Choy pulls his leg out and moves away.

Choy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Lamel misses the target.
Lamel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bok Choy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some wild striking there from Choy.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Choy in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Choy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Lamel to counter with a crisp jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lamel. Choy does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Choy! But no joy.
Choy throws a half hearted mid kick.
Choy throws a head kick that misses.
Lamel tests Choy's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lamel jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Choy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Choy.

Choy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Choy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Choy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lamel sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Choy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lamel eats them both and turns towards Choy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lamel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Choy appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Lamel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Choy doesn't seem bothered though.
Choy thuds his shin into the meat of Lamel's side.

Lamel misses with an uppercut.
Choy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lamel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Choy.

It looked like Lamel was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Choy.

Choy scores with a nice hook to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Choy throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bok Choy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

It looked like Lamel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Oooooh!!! Lamel has knocked Choy down with a huge combo! Lamel steps away and waves a wobbly Choy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Choy looks to land a combination but Lamel avoids it well.
Choy is still on wobbly legs! Can Lamel finish him?
Lamel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Choy is looking to clinch but Lamel is avoiding it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Choy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Choy seems to have recovered his senses.

Lamel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Choy circles away quickly and effectively.
Despite the aggression on Choy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Choy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lamel's head.

Choy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A combination from Lamel does no damage.
Choy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lamel tries to clinch there but Choy circles away.
Bok Choy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

I would just about give that final round to Bok Choy.
I've got Choy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
