Masaru tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Vizcarra manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vizcarra takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Masaru has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Vizcarra.

Masaru tries to clinch but Vizcarra is having none of it.

Masaru pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Norman Vizcarra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Masaru.
Vizcarra swats away the attempt to clinch by Masaru.
As Masaru backs off Vizcarra throws a huge counter combo but Masaru manages to avoid it all.
Masaru takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vizcarra works the jab nicely.

A slapping leg kick lands for Vizcarra.
Vizcarra cracks Masaru with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Masaru is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Masaru is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Masaru could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Norman Vizcarra!
Norman Vizcarra really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that LOPS 160q $149 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
