Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boychello's waist but Boychello gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mouba off to one side.

Mouba feints and as Boychello raises his hands in defense, Mouba changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Boychello is wriggling around but Mouba manages to pass to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mouba lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Boychello knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mouba on the ground.

Mouba has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
It looks like Mouba might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mouba working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mouba in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

It looked like Boychello was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mouba takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Boychello ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mouba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boychello cracks Mouba with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mouba falls to his knees and Boychello doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
