Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Markman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rory Markman!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaz throws a chopping leg kick but Markman manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Markman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kaz. Kaz obviously looking to wear him down.
Kaz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Markman checks a low kick from Kaz.
Markman is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
A low kick from Kaz misses
and Markman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Markman blocks the leg kick.
Kaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Markman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Markman! But no joy.
Kaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Markman circles away.
Markman with the counter takedown but Kaz avoids it easily.
Kaz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Markman's calf.
Kaz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A big right from Kaz misses.
Kaz looks to throw the jab but Markman is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Markman ducks under a wild hook from Kaz.
Kaz throws a solid leg kick but Markman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kaz.
Kaz throws out a leg kick but Markman moves out of range and Kaz only half commits.
Markman let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Max Kaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A jab from Kaz finds it's way through Markman's defenses.
It looks like Rory Markman has been cut.
Kaz lands a big head kick that sends Markman to the canvas! Kaz follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
