The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos gets caught flat footed, as Pitstulka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pitstulka throws a big right hand that misses.
Santos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pitstulka is trying to stand back up but Santos is controlling him
Santos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Santos wants to work for an arm triangle but Pitstulka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pitstulka wants to get back to his feet.

Santos tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Pitstulka pushes Santos off and gets back to his feet.
Pitstulka tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Santos attempts a counter takedown but Pitstulka avoids it well and moves away.
Pitstulka connects with a right that clearly hurt Santos. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Pitstulka proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Santos collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Steve Pitstulka tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
