Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Dandas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Joey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dandas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dandas wants it to stay on the feet.

Nice sprawl there from Dandas as Joey shoots in.
Bruce Dandas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fat Joey.

Joey shoots in looking for a takedown. Dandas tries to sprawl out of it but Joey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dandas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dandas tries to clinch but Joey moves out of range.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dandas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dandas has picked Joey up - he's going for a ride! Dandas dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dandas is looking for a kimura but Joey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dandas to get the leverage.
Dandas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Joey!
Joey is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Dandas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dandas tries to control but Joey wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joey gets back to half guard.
Dandas prevents Joey from improving his position.
Dandas is stalling here. Joey is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dandas seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Joey has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Joey is working to tighten his grip on Dandas's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dandas has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Joey is really squeezing tight and eventually Dandas passes out! Joey breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
