The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Timi Timi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dotson throws a right and a left that Timi avoids nicely.
Dotson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Timi back to the cage. Dotson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Dotson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looked like Dotson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That has opened up Timi Timi's cut even more.
Dotson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Timi is rocked!
Dotson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Timi at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Dotson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Timi doesn't seem phased though.

Timi throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dotson.
Dotson cracks Timi on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Timi falls backwards against the cage. Dotson follows up with more strikes that drop Timi to his knees. Dotson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Timi! This one is all over!
