Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva slips a jab from Blue.
Blue misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Blue pushes him off.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blue pinned against the cage. Blue gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Silva checks a leg kick.
Silva wants to clinch.
Blue misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.
Blue misses with a combination
and Silva counters with a nice body kick.
Blue stuffs the takedown.
Blue throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Blue fights it but they end up in guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Blue keeps moving.

Blue is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Blue looking for a sweep. Not yet Blue, not yet.
Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Silva has control of an arm but Blue manages to advance to Silva's back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silva is not going to allow Blue to sit and survive in this position.

Blue tries to escape but Silva has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Blue's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blue is working hard here to advance position.

Silva is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Blue has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Silva has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Blue taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Silva doesn't care though - he's delighted!
