PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heath Marcum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Alvado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvado has chosen Redbone - Come and Get Your Love as his entrance music. Pablo Alvado told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvado shoots for a takedown but Marcum saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Marcum.
Marcum misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Alvado parries the strikes from Marcum easily there. Marcum is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Alvado to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
