Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Aleksewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Pawel Aleksewicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Burns!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Burns goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Aleksewicz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Burns but great work by Aleksewicz.

Burns bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Burns is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aleksewicz is just riding it out for now. Burns eventually gives up the hold.

Burns feints and as Aleksewicz raises his hands in defense, Burns changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Aleksewicz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Burns scores with a jab. Aleksewicz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Burns throws a right and a left that Aleksewicz avoids nicely.
As Burns looks to move away, Aleksewicz throws a big counter combo bu Burns just gets out of the way.

Horrible takedown attempt by Aleksewicz or perhaps it was just good defense by Burns, which made it look bad.

As Aleksewicz backs off Burns throws a huge counter combo but Aleksewicz manages to avoid it all.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Burns ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Burns no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Burns has a closed guard, preventing Aleksewicz from standing up.

Burns looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Aleksewicz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Burns, up you get!

Burns decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
