Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimon Boets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Kottari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boets comes to the cage accompanied by Штиль. Dimon Boets has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 27 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimon Boets!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rami Kottari!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boets cracks Kottari with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.


It looks like Rami Kottari has been cut.
Kottari slips a jab and a cross from Boets.
Boets misses with a combination

and Kottari counters with a single leg into guard. Boets didn't expect that.
Kottari looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Boets is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boets had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kottari defends it easily.

Boets is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kottari defends well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kottari is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Boets is trying to control the position but Kottari postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Boets dives in for a single leg takedown but Kottari sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kottari changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Kottari has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
A jab from Kottari does it's job there.
Kottari takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Kottari avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kottari lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Dimon Boets has been cut.
Boets shoots for a takedown but Kottari saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boets misses with a body shot.
Boets tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kottari defends well and Boets ends up having to push Kottari into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dimon Boets. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kottari drops his shoulder and cracks Boets with a huge uppercut! Boets goes down! Can Kottari finish him?

Boets bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kottari's guard.

Kottari is pulling down on Boets's head. It's preventing any offense from Boets, at least for the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Boets throws a big elbow that misses.

Kottari is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Boets postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Boets looks to land a combination but Kottari avoids it well.

Kottari tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A punch lands to the side of Kottari 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boets walks into a jab.
Boets looks for a takedown but Kottari sprawls well.
Kottari throws out a loose jab but Boets uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kottari waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Boets. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Boets to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kottari got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boets has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kottari has managed to get both his arms back between Boets's legs - danger averted.
Kottari wants to control from the top but Boets keeps moving.
Kottari seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Boets looking for a sweep. Not yet Boets, not yet.
Boets is working hard here to advance position.

Kottari defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boets.

Kottari cracks Boets with an uppercut from hell and Boets crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kottari's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!


Boets is rocked!
Rami Kottari has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kottari arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Boets's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rami Kottari!
After winning the bout, Rami Kottari thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
