Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Brother Buakaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Illi Terate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brother Buakaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Illi Terate!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Terate.
Buakaw seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Buakaw closes the distance looking to clinch
and Terate cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Buakaw blocks a jab.
A jab from Terate misses.
Terate lands a really nice looking cross but Buakaw seems unphased.
Terate looks to throw the jab but Buakaw is out of range.
Buakaw misses with a double jab
and Terate counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Buakaw throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Terate throws out a loose jab but Buakaw uses good head movement to avoid it.
Buakaw is looking to counter the offense by Terate and move into the clinch.
Terate misses with an uppercut. Buakaw saw that one coming.
Terate connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Buakaw swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Terate misses with a straight left.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Terate lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Buakaw goes down! The ref sends Terate to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Buakaw is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Buakaw is rocked!
A big left from Terate misses.
Oh Buakaw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buakaw with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Terate misses with an uppercut.
Terate swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Buakaw seems to have got his legs back now.
Terate misses the jab.
Terate misses with a hook.
Terate lands a nice looking body shot.
No joy there for Buakaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Terate paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Terate moves out of range of the body kick from Buakaw.
Terate swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Terate swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Terate lands a body shot.
A cross from Terate lands.
Illi Terate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Terate lands a slapping body shot.
Buakaw is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buakaw takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Terate throws the left hand but Buakaw avoids the punch easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buakaw misses with an uppercut
and Terate counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Buakaw off his feet! Buakaw crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Buakaw isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Terate screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Illi Terate!
In his post fight interview, Illi Terate started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
