Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Gaudinot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson lands a jab-cross combination.

Gaudinot drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Ferguson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ferguson throws a big elbow that misses.
Gaudinot seems keen to control Ferguson's posture.
Ferguson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ferguson is fighting to break Gaudinot's control of his arms but Gaudinot is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gaudinot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ferguson defends it easily.

Gaudinot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ferguson's guard.

Gaudinot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Ferguson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gaudinot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ferguson somewhat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Ferguson counters with a three punch combo that has Gaudinot backing up. Gaudinot nods at Ferguson to acknowledge the strikes.
Gaudinot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferguson as he jumps to the side.

Gaudinot gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ferguson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Alex Ferguson will probably get the nod.

Gaudinot goes for a double leg but Ferguson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ferguson continues to drive forward.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Ferguson moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Gaudinot! Ferguson continues to tee off on Gaudinot, landing with a left and a right! Ferguson connects with a right hand that leaves Gaudinot sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Ferguson!
