Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kassidy Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie slips under a jab.
Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cullen sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Gracie thows a huge punch but Cullen dodges it nicely.

Cullen slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Cullen counters with a good low kick that Gracie was not able to check.
Cullen cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Cullen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
Cullen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Cullen connects with a couple of short punches.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cullen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cullen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cullen is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cullen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
