The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luvi gets caught flat footed, as David shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

David stands and throws Luvi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
David throws an elbow but Luvi slips to the side and avoids it well.
Luvi managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by David.
Luvi takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
David in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Luvi tries to improve position but can't.

We've been hearing good reports from Luvi's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Luvi wants to get up but he can't break David's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee asks David politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. David prefers to stall for the moment though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A close second round but Melekh David will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

David shoots for a double leg takedown but Luvi sprawls well. He's pushed David's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

David takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

David feints and as Luvi raises his hands in defense, David changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Luvi controls David momentarily but David frees himself.
Luvi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because David is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
