Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Velasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azogo Theiles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theiles doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Velasco counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Theiles thinking.
Nice sprawl there from Velasco as Theiles shoots in.
Velasco attempts a counter takedown but Theiles avoids it well and moves away.
Theiles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Velasco is fending him off so far but Theiles persists. Nope, Velasco circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Velasco was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kenneth Velasco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Azogo Theiles.
Theiles shoots in but Velasco avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've been told by Velasco's head coaches at Cozad MMA Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Velasco counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Theiles shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Velasco manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Velasco is on top in guard.

Theiles had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Velasco defends it easily.

Velasco has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Theiles to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Velasco is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Theiles pulls down on the head and he's put Velasco to sleep! This one is all over!
